Trust and responsibility

For the first time the French multi-entrepreneur Aude Zieseniss de Thuin presented in Luxembourg the third edition of  the Women's Forum in Deauville, France.

"Women play an important role. Therefore our message is to give hope to women and the young generation," said the founder of The Women's Forum for the Economy and Society. The foundation co-sponsors the Women in Business Golf Trophy (in Luxembourg).

The third edition of the Women's Forum, which is to take place in Deauville from October 11-13, 2007, is this year dedicated to the thematic "Building trust in our societies". Among other sponsors this year, HSBC, JP Morgan, McKinsey&Company as well as PricewaterhouseCoopers. On this occasion Marie-Jeanne Chèvremont-Lorenzini, PWC Managing Partner in Luxembourg, will debate on rethinking stereotypes and representational models in order to optimise women's ability and contribution to our societies and economies.

The Paris-based foundation, which statutes aim to enhance the women's contribution to the economy and society by "creating a new community of awareness and knowledge and providing new approaches on issues of global relevance," brings also together women leaders, and their male peers, "with the objective of achieving a 2/3 female, 1/3 male representation." This forum must give new perspectives to women and position them as actors of changes in Economy and Society," Aude Zieseniss de Thuin concluded.
