"Speed-networking has become a regular event on The Network's calendar, Lisa McLean, the Network President, said. Speed-networking always attracts many new members and is especially attractive for newcomers to Luxembourg."

This time, the event will not just be a simple matchmaking process. It will also combine the speed-networking concept with wine tasting. "We felt it was important to offer regular members who are seasoned networkers something to keep them interested, thus the idea of adding wine-tasting to this event. Lisa McLean explains. Sofitel keeps an excellent wine cellar." She added.

The Network is an English-speaking professional women's organisation gathering women from various industries and backgrounds ranging from finance to the arts. The aim is to promote interaction and networking among women of all nationalities. Therefore, the society offers an opportunity to make personal and professional contacts as well as a platform to promote services and business.

"If networking is defined as the interaction and informal contact of an extended group of people, well, speed-networking is the same except in fast forward!", Lisa McLean says.
