Founded in 1993, the Forest Stewardship Council is supported by various businesses, governments, foundations, and environmental organisations. Its certification system comprises a Forest Management (FM) certification on wood products – which defines a series of forest cultivation and management standards – and a Chain of Custody (CoC) certification concerning the intermediary manufacturing operations.

Recently CoC certified, IC also operates as a Professional of the Financial Sector (PSF), more particularly as a "client communication agent." Thus, with the sustainable trend spreading in the financial centre, getting into the custody chain will certainly pay off.
